คือปกติเห็น Admin อีกคนนึงเค้าใช้ PC ที่ลง XP ไว้ Remote เข้าไปใช้งานเครื่อง Server ประจำอยู่แล้วเลยจะถามว่าเราทำ PC ทั้งหมดในองค์กรมาทำเป็นระบบ Server Base ได้อ่ะป่าวคะ

ถ้าจะนำ PC ทั้งหมดมาใช้ เป็น Server Base ผมว่า ร่วมรวมข้อมูลแล้วไป อัดไว้ที่ Server มันจะสะดวกใช้มากกว่าไหมครับ -*- เพราะถ้าเอา PC ทั้งหมด มาทำเป็น Server Base หาข้อมูลกันตายเลย ani17

ไม่รุผมเข้าใจถูกอ่ะป่าวครับ
ที่คุณ Moonui ต้องการคือเอา PC Remote เข้าไปทำงานใน Terminal Server รึป่าวครับ
ถ้าใช้ ผมก็ตอบได้เลยว่าแบบนั้นมันก็ได้อยู่หรอกครับแต่มันไม่น่าจะมีความจำเป็นต้องทำแบบนั้นนะครับ

คือระบบ Server Base น่ะทุกอยางประมวลผลที่ Server ระบบนี้ออกแบบมาเพื่อประหยัดทรัพยากรเครื่องลูกข่าย ฉะนั้นผมว่าใช้ TC ไม่ดีกว่าหรอครับ
ไม่ต้องค่อยถอดแรมมาถูยางลบ ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยน HDD แถมยังไม่ต้องลงโปรแกรมที่เครื่อง Client ทุกเครื่องด้วย
อีกอย่าง PC ใช้ไปตั้ง 450 W แต่ TC ใช้ไฟแค่ 12 W เท่านั้นประหยัดกว่ากันเยอะ

เปลี่ยนมาใช้ TC เถอะครับ
แล้วคุณจะมีเวลาเป็นของตังเองมากขึ้น(ไม่ต้องไปหาซื้อนาฬิกามาใส่เยอะ ๆ เพื่อเพิ่มเวลาให้กับตัวเองนะครับมัน เปลื่อง)

TOT ความรู้ คู่ยางดองครับ

Make PC to Thin Client you can DIY.
Opportunity
you can use linux busybox boot on CD/DVD, HDD, USB Drive.
you can use Rdesktop or other application program remote to Terminal Server.

Threat
Mainboard Clash can't boot system.
CD/DVD Clash can't boot OS.
HDD Clash can't boot OS.
USB Thrumb Drive loss can't boot OS.
CPU FAN Clash can't boot system.
Display FAN Clash can't boot system.
Power Supply Clash can't boot system.
Memory Error can't boot system.

If you can't boot operating system you can't login Terminal Server.

Somebody not choose this way to make PC to Thin Client for Enduser in company.

You have a hard work to control risk management. and low competency to competitiveness other company and no sustainable in global changing.

PC ที่ใช้ OS XP ก็ทำเป็น Server ใช้งานร่วมกับ Thin Client ได้นะครับ เพราะผมทำอยู่นะครับ

หรือไม่ก็เอา Piii 800-1g มาทำเป็น TC ก็ได้ กินไฟมากกว่า แต่ค่าตัวถูกกว่ากันเยอะ
